The story so far: Kristina didn't feel him kicking as much so she went to the doctor at around 9am Wednesday. Vitals looked ok but he was not very active so to find out more she was sent to the hospital for a 24hour monitor. So now it's around 1pm and the nurses etc. leave with some of the info the machines are spitting out. They return at 1:10 and start having her fill out delivery papers and we are a bit curious at this point what is going on with the baby. Luckily these phones have cameras in them.
As she is filling them out they tell us we are going to Labor and Delivery to have a c section! The baby wanted out really bad, yet her body was not ready to deliver at all. They wheel her out at 1:37
I am sent to get dressed for the op room and now it is 1:47
When they bring me in to see her she is already in the procedure and at 1:56 Nico is out and they are working on him.
He was due on February 20 so his lungs are not quite ready for the world which is normal. There are other complication he is having with breathing and has been fully sedated and on a breathing machine as they work on stabilizing his condition.
We were told he would have died for sure if Kristina had waited another day before coming in. Persistent Pulmonary Hypertension is one of his issues right now. His condition has been critical and still is at the time of this post. We are praying he takes to all the medication and his body starts to change for the better. Thank you all for your help we are blessed with great friends and family and we really do appreciate it.
