Bed rest
It turns out bringing home a baby brother for Maya may be a bit more complicated than planned. I am 28 weeks pregnant today. I spent Monday night in the hospital because of some contractions and have been placed on 1 week of bed rest. Many thanks are due to my mother-in-law for all of her help with laundry, cooking, cleaning and grocery shopping! And Quinton has been on constant duty taking care of Maya and I. We are a couple of demanding girls, but his sense of humor and loving care are greatly appreciated.
This morning he set up the Christmas tree and Maya put the ornaments on it. She is quite pleased to have her very own tree! We also have watched a Curious George Christmas DVD yesterday and today, so she is getting a little idea of the music, decorations and celebration to come.
