Yesterday we went over to our neighbor's house to see their baby hamsters. Quinton was working on separating the girls from the boys and Maya was having fun with their kids and watching the hamsters run around the cage. Then she said, "the hamsters don't have shoes." That's right. They don't. Maya loves shoes.
Maya moved to her big girl bed this weekend for both her naps and nights. She is doing well. We have a camera in there, so it was amusing to watch her from downstairs after we left her alone for her first nap. She immediately got up and ran around, opened the drawers to her dresser (which is now secured to the wall), looked out the windows, and tried to get out of her bedroom. After a while and a little coaxing, she laid down and went to sleep.
