Momma! Mama! Ma Ma Ma Ma

Nico finally said it and it's music to my ears! I love it! Now we are practicing for "Maya." "Dada" came so long ago. Nico is crawling with his belly up now and getting up to standing and back down better now. We practiced "cruising" on the couch this week, with some bunny cookies as motivational bait. Food works better than toys, not quite a surprise with a boy who likes to eat as much as Nico.
Maya is under the weather today, with a fever and cough. She is still a happy girl. She has been making up songs to sing lately. For example, the Sleeping Beauty song: "Sleeping beauty, sleeping beauty, sleeping beauty...." or the Belle song"Belle, Belle, Belle, she is pretty, Belle, Belle, Belle." And she made me laugh in the car because she sang the radio ID song " K S B J," just like they sing it.
