That's Maya.
Today Maya saw her first movie at the movie theater. Quinton and I took her to see Toy Story 3 in 3D while Quinton's mom watched Nico. Maya thought it was great. She also enjoyed her popcorn and blue Icee. When I asked what her favorite part was, though, she had no answer.
Something that keeps making me laughing is how inborn rebellion is. When Maya and I left the grocery store Saturday it was lunchtime. It was very hot and I was hungry, so I was getting cranky. Maya was making a lot of noise about something in the back seat, so I told her, " I don't want to hear another peep." She said, "peep!" and then was silent. Ahh! I laughed silently.
Nico's new trick is blowing raspberries. It is quite cute and I enjoy returning the favor. I am waiting to get a big laugh when I blow on his belly.

Maya-
Well, according to more than one of our neighbors her personality has just blossomed. She speaks in paragraphs now instead of just sentences. She loves playing with her brother and helping to take care of him.
One evening recently when Maya was praying she said the same thing about 4 times. So to help her out, I suggested that we say "we love you, Jesus." Since then her prayers have regularly included "and thank you for our lovely Jesus."
Nico-
It is hard to believe he is almost six months old! He is about seven inches taller than when he was born. He has rolled from his tummy to his back. He seems to be developing right on track. He has moved from cooing and smiling to the stage now where everything he gets his hands on goes right to his mouth. I think it won't be too long before I serve him his first baby food. He enjoyed his first time swimming in our pool this week. Nico loves for his sister to give him lots of attention, and he rewards her with smiles.
